Sohar Airport is situated in the wilayat of Sohar in Al Batinah Region of Oman. This will be an international airport. A temporary airport was opened on 18 November 2014 even before starting the construction of the terminal building.
Construction
The airport will be built in three packages. Package 1 includes site preparation, package 2 includes the infrastructure works, and package 3 includes construction of airport facilities.
