Sokolany [sɔkɔˈlanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sokółka, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Sokółka and 44 km (27 mi) north-east of the regional capital Białystok.
