Sombai Infused Cambodian Liqueur (Sombai) is a local beverage produced in Siem Reap.[1]

This beverage takes inspiration from the Sraa Tram (or soaked wine) that Cambodians drink traditionally and the infused rums from the islands.[2][3] The particularity of the bottles of Sombai is that they are hand-painted making it attractive to tourists visiting Cambodia who want to bring back home gifts or souvenirs.[4][5][6]

The workshop and its tasting parlour[7] installed in a traditional Khmer wooden house, has become a tourist attraction in town.[8][9] It also propose products from the sister brands Joe's Cuisine (non-alcoholic range of spices, aromatised sea salt, fleur de sel and peppercorns) and Joe's Kampot Pepper Liqueur.
