Some Type of Love is the debut extended play (EP) by American singer Charlie Puth. It was released on May 1, 2015 by Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group.[2] The EP produced a single, "Marvin Gaye", which featured Meghan Trainor,[3] and was released on February 10, 2015.
Reception
Warner Music wrote "Like on 'See You Again', Charlie Puth shines on his EP not only as a singer and musician, but is also involved as a songwriter, composer and producer". The writer noted the incorporation of retro soul sounds.[4]
