"Someone Who's Cool" is the first single released by the Canadian rock band Odds from their fourth album, Nest. The song was originally written for the Friends soundtrack.[1] The song was very successful in Canada, peaking at #2 on Canada's Singles Chart.[2] It remains to be the band's highest charting single and one of the band's most popular songs. The song was also used as the theme song to the short-lived CBS music industry comedy Love Monkey.[3]

The song's music video was directed by Curtis Wehrfritz. The video was nominated for "Best Video" at the 1997 Juno Awards.[4]
