Sonari is a largest residential area in the city of Jamshedpur. It houses the city's airport the Sonari Airport (IATA: IXW, ICAO: VEJS). Domuhani bridge is under construction at Marine Drive Sonari which connects Sonari with NH 33, it will reduce the traffic of Mango bridge to some extent.
