Songs From Suburbia was the second and final album by Spring Heeled Jack USA. The album was recorded at the Hit Factory recording studio in New York City. The same studio had previously been used by musicians such as John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, & The Rolling Stones.
The band released a music video for the song "Jolene" to promote the album. The song "Time" originally appeared on the band's demo cassette "Connecticut Ska", but was not rerecorded until this album's sessions.
