SoulSpell is a heavy metal project created by Heleno Vale. Much like Ayreon and Avantasia, SoulSpell features guest musicians from other bands to portray characters in a metal opera.

History

A Legacy of Honor (2008)

Released in 2008 by Spiritual Beast in Japan and Hellion Records in Brazil, A Legacy of Honor and is spearheaded by Brazilian musicians.

The Labyrinth of Truths (2010)

After the success of “Legacy of Honor”, SoulSpell gained assistance from Roland Grapow (Helloween, Masterplan), Zak Stevens and Jon Oliva (Savatage), Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Tim "Ripper" Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth), Edu Falaschi (Angra) and Nando Fernandes (Hangar). The second album The Labyrinth of Truths was then released in 2010.
