South Florida Auto Show

Since 1971, the South Florida International Auto Show has been held every year in Miami Beach, Florida. The date varies, but is usually between the last week in October and first week in December. This show is one of the most prominent auto shows in the United States. The 10-day event, renamed "Miami International Auto Show" in 2012, averages over 650,000 visitors a year, making it one of the highest attended auto shows in the United States. Along with Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit & New York, the Miami show is the first scheduled of the "A sized category" automobile shows in the USA.

The 2015 show, showcasing 2016 cars, will be held November 6-15. The show is important both for its introductions and that it is the first of the major North American Auto Shows, so it is the first time that all new-year models are shown under one roof. It is an especially popular debut show for high-end European manufacturers.

One of the unique attractions of this major auto show is the MEMORY LANE concours exhibit of classic vehicles. It is a rare collection of the finest examples of antique and classic vehicles from the 1920s through the 1980s. The Miami International Auto Show is the only major auto show in the USA that features this classic & antique vehicle exhibit. Many of the new car designs shown at the auto show are inspired by the classic styles of the antique cars being displayed in MEMORY LANE. Since 1995, this display has been presented by the South Florida Region of the ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF AMERICA ("AACA").
