South Hingham Camp
South Hingham Camp is a former infantry battalion coastal defense base camp that existed from between May 1942 and November 1943 in South Hingham, Massachusetts. It was headquarters of the 3rd Battalion of the 181st Infantry Regiment, as well as companies I, M, and "B" Company of the 132nd Combat Engineer Battalion.[1]
