Southerham Machine Bottom Pit is a 1.6 hectare geological Site of Special Scientific Interest, located in East Sussex, England. The site was notified in 1999 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The site is one of a large number of dis-used chalk pits on the outskirts of Lewes.
