Southern Anatolian montane conifer and deciduous forests
The Southern Anatolian montane conifer and deciduous forests ecoregion, in the Mediterranean forests, woodlands, and scrub biome, is of the eastern Mediterranean Basin.
Setting
The ecoregion covers an area of 29,500 square miles (76,000 km2), and covers portions of Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the Palestinian territories and Turkey.
