Southwest Forestry University

Southwest Forestry University (Chinese: 西南林业大学; pinyin: Xīnán Línxuéyuàn), SWFU, is the Largest forestry university located in the southwestern part of China. Besides, it is also a comprehensive university, consisting of 18 different profession departments. It is located in Kunming city, founded by 1939.

As of February 2016, the school covers a total of 1800 acres, which covers an area of 1204.1 acres of campus, teaching experimental forest 693 acres, building area of 450,000 square meters; teaching equipment research equipment worth 123 million yuan; 72 undergraduate majors; existing school full-time undergraduate students 16451 people, 1230 people full-time graduate students, the existing staff of 1170 people.
