Soviet Union men's national field hockey team
Soviet Union national field hockey team represented the Soviet Union in the sport of field hockey. The team was controlled by the Federation of bandy and field hockey USSR.The team was one of the dominant teams during 1980s-1990s from europe until its defunct.It outedged top teams like India, Pakistan during that time.It won bronze medal as a host in 1980 moscow olympics reached semi-finals of world cup in 1986 where it stood fourth.
