The sparkling-tailed woodstar (Tilmatura dupontii), also known as the sparkling-tailed hummingbird, is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest.
