Ancylosis pectinatella is a species of snout moth in the genus Ancylosis. It was described by Joannis in 1915, and is known from Mauritius.[1]
Taxonomy
The name Ancylosis pectinatella is preoccupied by the species described by Ragonot in 1887. This means the species described by Joannis needs to be renamed, but no replacement name has yet been given.
The wingspan of this species is 23mm. Its larvae had been found in February on sugar-apples (Annona squamosa).[2]
