History

Mysterious ways made NULLIFER AND CANDYBONES meet each other in 2004, Nullifer moved to Italy from Chicago, USA to stay with her...and they created Spectrum-X. In 2004 Spectrum-X released their Demo (music) CD "Dreambook" a self produced (roughly recorded strange metal mix), This demo was inspired mostly by the holiday theme of Halloween, In 2005 Spectrum-X began to work on their first full length Album Tea Party With Zombies(2006), In late 2006 Spectrum-X released their first self produced full length Album "Tea Party With Zombies", This Album is still their best selling to date. (Industrial metal Mix), This album was inspired mostly by the theme of Alice in wonderland, but was twisted into a darker and more Gothic atmosphere. In early 2006 Spectrum-X also filmed a Music video for the song "SLOW" off of the Album "Tea Party With Zombies" directed by Pananu Productions, the main part of the video was recorded with the Alice in wonderland theme featuring Candy Bones in the Part of a Darker and Gothic Alice. In 2007 Spectrum-X met Kiwamu the guitarist of BLOOD and the Owner for the Japanese Record label Darkest Labyrinth. At first Darkest Labyrinth was Record distribution for Spectrum-X in Japan. In 2007 after meeting Kiwamu Spectrum-X released their first Single (music) CD Gnomes Bones (2007), it also included the Music video for Gnomes Bones directed by Mirco Andreas. the song itself is based mostly on a Fairy tale theme of thievish Gnomes. The video also followed along the lines of a Fairy tale but the band itself were depicted as Mannequins. After working for much time with Kiwamu he then offered a Record contract to Spectrum-X, In 2008 Spectrum-X released their 2nd full length Album Darkest Night Ever(2008) under the Japanese Record label Darkest Labyrinth. This album's theme was a mix of Victorian Gothic Fairy tales, and a more Futuristic second half of the Album speaking from the point of view of two otherworldly or Alien creatures who are now traped in Present day of Human kind speaking of Plasma weapons, Electric based Life forms and their home Planet.

Later that year (2008) Spectrum-X was invited to Concert tour in Japan, where they played a few shows in Osaka and Tokyo, and also made a few in store appearances and DJ'd a few clubs,

Then Spectrum-X Re-recorded and re-released the Album Tea Party With Zombies (New Version)(2008) under the Japanese Record Label Darkest Labyrinth,

In 2009 Spectrum-X went to Concert tour in Hollywood California at "The Knitting Factory",

In June 2010 Spectrum-X returned to Concert tour in Japan to promote the re release of the Album "Tea Party With Zombies (New Version)" and to help promote the release of the Record Label Darkest Labyrinth compilation CD Darkest Labyrinth: Volume 2 (2010) which contained one of their songs "12 clock strikes",

In Early 2011 Spectrum-X decided to remove most of the Electric guitar and Acoustic instrument from their music to pursue their roots in the Electro-industrial music. Which in the end was readded at the end of the album Black Death's recording, due to feeling empty.

On October 21, 2011 Spectrum-X released the Album "Black Death"

This Album will be released under the Japanese Record Label Darkest Labyrinth and will also be released under the European Record label "TraumaFactor",

Spectrum-X over the years has also been featured in Magazines such as "Dark Spy" from Germany "Alamode Magazine" from Japan "Risknote Magazine" From Japan "Anime Food" from Chicago Illinois USA "Gaku-X" USA,
