Sphinx Rock

Sphinx Rock (60°37′S 46°5′W / 60.617°S 46.083°W / -60.617; -46.083Coordinates: 60°37′S 46°5′W / 60.617°S 46.083°W / -60.617; -46.083) is a rock which lies immediately off the southwest end of Monroe Island in the South Orkney Islands. Charted and named by DI personnel on the Discovery II in 1933.
