Spinetinglers is a series of 30 horror novels by a series of authors and published under the pseudonym M.T. Coffin. The series has a different plot and different characters in each book.

  2. Billy Baker's Dog Won't Stay Buried: A nasty neighbor insists that Billy Baker's dog has to be put to sleep after biting him. Billy is upset, but convinced his pet will return to him. When his dog returns from the grave, he brings a legion of undead dogs with him to wreak havok in the neighborhood.
  3. My Teacher's a Bug: Ryan and his family arrive in a new town in Texas after his father finally finds the perfect job. When the new climate wreaks havoc on Ryan's allergies, a new medication is prescribed which has some extremely unusual side effects

  15. Escape from the Haunted Museum: A class trip to a museum turns terrifying when a group of youngsters gets trapped in the museum overnight and discovers that the exhibits have a "life" of their own.
  16. We Wish You a Scary Christmas: Two kids suspect that there is something wrong with their new neightbors, and eventually find out that they've been taking care of Santa Claus, to make sure he regains his memory by Christmas.
  17. The Monster Channel: Charley discovers the dangers of watching too much television when, in the attic of his spooky new house, he stumbles upon an old television that only gets one channel--the Monster Channel--with some interesting special effects.
  18. Mirror, Mirror: Jake's boring life turns exciting when he looks at his reflection in a spoon and sees a bizarre being, who talks with him and offers to take away all his worries, but Jake soon realizes that the creature is evil.
  19. Boogey's Back for Blood: Receiving a centuries-old tome from an elderly bookstore owner on his thirteenth birthday, Mike Jacobs recites a few lines from the book and conjures up the Boogeyman, who has been sleeping for four hundred years.
  20. Lights, Camera, Die!: Running the Oddity Theater, the mysterious Mr. Faust plays horror films day and night, inviting youngsters to be special guests only to place them into the dangerous worlds of the on-screen monster movies.
  21. Camp Crocodile: A lakeside summer camp is anything but restful when some of the kids begin disappearing, and when one of the campers swears a giant crocodile is responsible, no one believes him until it is too late.
  22. Student Exchange: James becomes convinced that something odd is going on at Westview Elementary School, wondering why Marilyn, a new girl, is wearing a strange pendant, and sets out to investigate when a classmate disappears and a mysterious boy turns up wearing the same bizarre pendant.
  23. Gimme Back My Brain: Run For Your Life... Science Needs Your Brain! If you happen to meet a couple of mad scientist who are creating a super robot -- WATCH OUT! They're looking for a brain to complete their robot, and it might be yours. Max doesn't know what he's getting into when two weird say they want to copy his brain. It's too late when he finds his body strapped to a lab table and his brain transferred into a giant silver robot. With his new body, Max has all the super power he needs to free himself... but no way to escape from his monstrous metal form. Now Max if terrifying the neighborhood. People are trying to shut him down. The mad scientists are trying to catch him take control of his mind. Where can Max turn for help when no one knows that it's himtrapped in that giant robot body?

  27. Lizard People: On a dare, Michael enters an empty old house and finds himself in a nightmare world where all the people are lizards, including himself. He has to find his way home so he's not stuck in the Land of the Lizards forever.
  28. Circus F.R.E.A.K.S.: Charlie and Jeanna thought it was fun to dress as freaks for the school circus play, and when the circus comes to town, they rush down to meet some real freaks. That's when they find out that they're in real danger of becoming part of the F.R.E.A.K. show!.
  29. My Dentist is a Vampire: Brian is going to a new dentist--and he finds himself trapped in a house of horror, with skeletons, bugs, and bats screaming for his blood. And the dentist is the head vampire!.
  30. Saber-Toothed Tiger: Alan Evans notices three menacing looking cats hanging around his house and hears them talking--making plans to eat his neighbor. When his neighbor vanishes, Alan is alarmed, especially since the felines now have their eyes on him. He fights back by turning himself into a cat--a very big cat.
