Spongdal is a village in the municipality of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the largest village in the Byneset district. It is located between Langørjan and Ringvål. The 0.23-square-kilometre (57-acre) village has a population (2013) of 422. The population density is 1,835 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,750/sq mi).[1]
