The Sports Industry Awards, known as SPIA, is an awards ceremony encompassing all relevant categories of the sporting industry organised by Sport360. The event consists of a cocktail reception, a 3 course gourmet meal with beverages, awards ceremony, live entertainment and an after-party of which the location changes every year.

The inaugural[1] awards ceremony was in 2013,[2] with parameters and entries changing, it developed into the 2014 edition.[3] The 2015 award ceremony,[4] announced for Wednesday the 25th of March, will be held at the JW Marriott Marquis and will see another round of changes in categories. Submissions for the 2015 awards have moved to an online form to help with environmental impact.

Judging system

The judging panel is managed and audited by Deloitte & Touché (Middle East), composed of key industry leaders from their relevant categories. It uses the following format:

Entries are judged on a standalone basis without comparison to other entries in a category
Each entry reviewed by a minimum of 7 judges
Finalists are judged within their category
