Spring Stampede
Spring Stampede was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) held in the month of April in 1994 and then from 1997 to 2000. As it was called Spring Stampede, the event was usually Cowboy/Wild West themed. Since 2001, WWE owns the rights to the Spring Stampede event. In 2015, All WCW pay-per-views were made available on the WWE Network.

Spring Stampede 1994 took place on April 17, 1994 from the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Illinois.
After Vader defeated The Boss, Nick Bockwinkel announced that The Boss could no longer use the name the Boss, in reality The WWF threaten to sue WCW because The Boss character was too similar to the Big Bossman character he played in the WWF. WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair fought Ricky Steamboat to a double-pin. WCW Commissioner Bockwinkel originally awarded the belt back to Flair, but title was later held up pending a rematch on WCW Saturday Night.

Spring Stampede 1997 took place on April 6, 1997 from the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi. One of the matches scheduled for the show was The Outsiders vs. The Steiner Brothers, but Scott Hall no-showed the event and Scott Steiner got "arrested" earlier in the evening to turn it into a singles match. During the main event nWo referee Nick Patrick counted the pin, which caused him to be attacked by Kevin Nash. After the match Savage tried to attack Kimberly, then attacked Eric Bischoff after he was convinced to let her go.

Spring Stampede 1998 took place on April 19, 1998 from the Denver Coliseum in Denver, Colorado. During the match between Curt Hennig and The British Bulldog, Hennig's corner man Rick Rude was handcuffed to Jim Neidhart to prevent him from interfering. During the match itself Vincent, disguised as a police officer, gave Rude the handcuff keys. Rude then unlocked himself and cuffed Neidhart to the ring. After the Baseball Bat on a Pole match Hollywood Hogan used the bat to attack his own tag team partner, Kevin Nash. After the main event a furious Hogan and The Disciple attacked Savage and Nash, only stopping after Scott Norton stepped in.
