Springfield Central railway station is the terminus station of the Springfield line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Ipswich suburb of Springfield.
History
Springfield Central station opened on 2 December 2013 as the terminus station of the Springfield line.[1][2][3]
The station is situated on a 900-metre viaduct. It includes a car park for 100 vehicles with an additional 400 vehicle spaces on Greenbank Arterial Road which was completed in early 2014.[2][3] Provision has been made to extend the line.
Services
Springfield Central is served by trains operating to and from Bowen Hills. Some services extend to Petrie, Caboolture and Nambour.[4]
