Career

Sreejith did a lot of theatre during school days at Hari Sri, Thrissur and during college days at NIT. Later he attended theatre classes under MIchael Griggs of Portland University and Mahesh Dattani at Bangalore. Sreejith had worked in English plays like Tangled Chaos, Wait until Dark, Bayen (Mahaswetadevi), Deep Freeze and Episode in the life of an author (Jean Anouilah) at Bangalore with groups like Curtains, Black coffee (under Preetam koilppillai) and also attended some contemporary dance classes under Nakula of Aattakkalari, Bangalore. After PGDBA and a brief stint as sales executive with Apollo Tyres Ltd at Bangalore, Sreejith came back to Kerala to look after family run businesses and got associated with Nataka souhrudam, an amateur theatre group through cousin Dr Ravi thereby teaming up with Adv. Vinod. Afterwards, Sreejith did Bayen in Malayalam, Ghoshaghosham, agnivarnante kaalukal (Kavalam) and also did a one-man show called Shunashepavishadam directed by Suresh Mechery and a short play called Athentha with father T. G. Ravi directed by Satyajit at the International Theatre fest at Thrissur in 2010. Sreejith's entry into movies was in 2005 when he saw a newspaper invite for new faces for Mayookham and was selected in the screen test.He started his acting career in 2005 with the film Mayookham. Chanthupottu released in the same year which ran for more than 100 days came as a break for this actor. Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Naalu Pennungal, Sivarasan in the rajiv gandhi assassination based Mission 90 Days were his notable roles. Chekavar was a turning point where he eventually ventured in the Tamil film industry with the movie Vettai. Sathyan Anthikad's Kadha Thudarunnu and Orkut Oru Ormakoot by Manoj Vinod showed a possibility of moulding into character roles and humour apart from the villainy seen throughout and through lineage of the one-time prominent villain actor T. G. Ravi.

Sreejith has dubbed for his father T. G. Ravi in the movies Ashwaroodan and Pranchiyettan & the Saint.

Sreejith is also Executive director of Suntec Tyres Ltd, a tyre manufacturing company.
