Sreya Jayadeep
Sreya Jayadeep is an Indian playback singer working in the Malayalam cinema industry.
Biography
Sreya Jayadeep was born to Jayadeep and Praseetha in 2005 in a Hindu family, in Kozhikode. She studies in Devagiri CMI Public school in class 5 (2015) near Medical College, Kozhikode. She has a younger brother, Souruv. Sreya is a young new singing sensation in the Malayalam film industry. She has recorded more than 50 devotional and film songs, under the age of ten. Her mother would say that she would imitate and try to sing songs on TV and radio, since the age of 2. She started learning classical music at the age of 4. She became famous through the famous reality show Surya Singer, her first musical venture.
Career
Sreya Jayadeep was a contestant on the Surya TV singing contest Surya Singer, a contest specifically for child singers.[1] At age of 8, she was crowned as Surya singer. She was the youngest competitor in show which she won. Based on this exposure, she was offered the opportunity to sing her first film song in the film Weeping Boy, in which she recorded two songs: "Chema Chema Chemanoru" and "Thaaraattupattum". She has gone on to perform in other Mollywood films, including Amaya oru Bavool penkutty and " Amar Akbar Anthony".
