Sri Palee Campus
The Sri Palee Campus of the University of Colombo is located in Wewala, Horana, Sri Lanka. Established in 1996 it conducts courses in the field of performing arts and mass media. It was established by a notification of the Sri Lanka government gazette (Extraordinary) No 928/1 dated June 20, 1996. The campus is located in buildings and land donated to the University of Ceylon by the family of the late Mr. Wilmot A. Perera (trustees of the Sri Palee Trust) in memory of their father. The Sri Palee Trust was established by Wilmot A. Perera with his personal lands. It was subsequently assigned to the University of Colombo.The campus is due to expand into two faculties with five academic departments.

- 33 acres of land.
- 17 buildings allocated to the departments, lecture halls and other branches.
- Computer Center and Audio Visual Unit.
- Campus library with 19,000 books in the fields of Mass Media, Performing Arts, languages and Computer Science.
- Wilmot A Perera hall.
- Two small wells in addition to the supply of the water from the Water Board.
- Health Centre.
- Cultural Center equipped with musical instruments and costumes.
- Two hostels to accommodate a maximum of 120 female students.
- Guest house for visitors to the campus.
- Canteen facilities for students and the staff.
- Campus security service.
