Sri Venkateswar Steam Press

Sri Venkateswar Steam Press (Khemraj Shrikrishnadass) is one of the oldest publishers in India.[1][2]

It was established by two Marwari brothers from Churu, Ganga Vishnu Bajaj and Khemraj Krishnadas Bajaj in 1871 at Moti Bazar Bombay. By 1880 they moved to Khetwadi and formally established Sri Venkateswar Steam Press.[3]

The have published several classical Hindi and Sanskrit texts,[4][5] including the smallest Gita.[6]

They published some the earliest editions of Kalyana magazine for Geeta Press.
