St. Henry District High School is located in Erlanger, Kentucky and is a Catholic high school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington.

Description

St. Henry was founded as the high school of St. Henry parish in 1933. It was later converted into a district high school of the diocese as enrollment grew. The increasing number of students mirrors the significant growth of the Catholic population in Boone County during the later years of the 20th century. Covington Bishop Robert William Muench was a major supporter of the high school, and he oversaw a campaign to build a new facility. The bishop's fund-raising campaign, which was conducted throughout the 1990s, managed to obtain enough money for construction to begin in 1996. St. Henry students moved into the new location on Donaldson Road in 1998. SHDHS draws students from the grade schools of district parishes, as well as public school students transferring to the diocesan system. Most students are from Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in Kentucky. The faculty includes residents of northern Kentucky and also Cincinnati.

The current principal of St. Henry District High School is David Otte. The school is governed by a board of mixed composition, including a faculty member, the development director, and representatives of the district parishes.
