St. Jerome Emiliani Institute (abbreviated as SJEI) is a private, co-educational Catholic Institution conducted by the Somascan Missionary Sisters. It is located on the back of Sto. Niño de Molino Parish Church, Bahayang Pag-asa, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. Like its namesake schools, the students of SJEI are called Jeromians.
A Brief History
The school, Saint Jerome Emiliani Institute, established by the Missionary Daughters of Saint Jerome Emiliani on June 17, 1985, found its place at Saint Jerome Quadrangle at the back of Sto. Niño de Molino Parish Church, Bahayang Pag-asa, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.
In 1985, it started with the enrollment from Nursery to grade 4 with two hundred (200) pupils.
With the minimal tuition fee and school fees, there was growth in enrollment every year, and thus had its first Grade 6 graduates on March 25, 1988.
After fourteen years of operation, SJEI definitely decided to open a high school course as a response to the needs of the time and place. First Year and Second Year high school students pioneered the secondary level in the school year 1999–2000.
