The St. Louis Airport Police Department is a Division within the Metropolitan Police Department, City of St. Louis with all law enforcement responsibilities at Lambert - St. Louis International Airport. The police department’s primary mission is to ensure a safe and secure environment for the traveling public.

The St. Louis Police Airport Division is responsible for traffic control, criminal investigations, airport community oriented policing, airport security, enforcement of local, state and federal laws at the airport and providing canine explosive detection support to the airport and surrounding communities.
