The St. Peter's Church[1] (Icelandic: Kirkja St. Pétur) is the name given to a religious building of the Catholic Church which is located in Eyrarlandsvegi 26, in the town of Akureyri, Norduland Eystra (Northeast Region) in Iceland in northern Europe.
The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and depends on the Catholic Diocese of Reykjavik, based in the capital of Iceland. The church stands out for its red and white colors. Not to be confused with another church also dedicated to St. Peter in the same region but located in Hrafnagilsstræti 2.[2]
