St. Raphael the Archangel Church is a former Roman Catholic parish church in the Outremont neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The St. Raphael the Archangel Church Parish was founded in 1930 for the English-speaking Catholic community of Outremont under the Archdiocese of Montreal. In 1932, the parish built a small Gothic revival church with the same name as the Parish. By 2008, the parish was suffering from dwindling attendance due to a decreasing English-speaking community in Outremont. The parish was forced to close in 2008 after 75 years, and was the last English-speaking Catholic parish in Outremont.[1]
As of 2014, a group is planning to convert the church into a palliative care facility.[2]
