St David's Day Agreement

The St David's Day Agreement, which set out the proposals of UK coalition government, which was published in the command paper Powers for a purpose: Towards a lasting devolution settlement for Wales, also known as the St David's Day Command Paper, is another step in Welsh devolution. The agreement was announced on 27 February 2015, by David Cameron, the UK Prime Minister and Nick Clegg, the UK Deputy Prime Minister at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

The majority of the recommendations of the second report by the Commission on Devolution in Wales, commonly known as Silk II, has gone into this agreement and documented in the command paper.[1]
