The Stadtmuseum Oldenburg is a museum covering the history of the city of Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany.[1]

Overview

The museum included three historic houses with recreated interiors. There are scale models of Oldenburg at different dates of its development. There are historic paintings, included some local views. The museum also hosts temporary art exhibitions.

The Stadtmuseum Oldenburg shares its entrance with the co-located Horst-Janssen-Museum, an art museum dedicated to the artist Horst Janssen that opened in 2000. The entrance area includes a shop and cafe.
