Starominsky District (Russian: Староминский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Starominsky Municipal District.[2] It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 1,030 square kilometers (400 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Starominskaya.[1] Population: 40,755(2010 Census);[3] 41,097(2002 Census);[6] 41,524(1989 Census).[7] The population of Starominskaya accounts for 73.1% of the district's total population.[3]
