Stein am Rhein railway station is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen and municipality of Stein am Rhein. The station is situated on the opposite (southern) bank of the Rhine to the historic centre of the town, a walk of some 500 m (1,600 ft).[1]
The station is located on the Seelinie railway line, which links Schaffhausen with Konstanz. It is served by Zurich S-Bahn line S29, which runs to and from Winterthur, and by services S3 and S8 of the St. Gallen S-Bahn, which operate over the Seelinie from the city of Schaffhausen to St. Gallen and Rorschach respectively.[2][3]
