Biography

Coronel created the riff and chord structure of "She" and "Goin' Blind", co-authoring the songs with Simmons. A former member of The Long Island Sounds (with Seth Dogramajian), Bullfrog Bheer, Tree (with Paul Stanley), Cathedral, Coffee, Rainbow (unrelated to the Ritchie Blackmore band of the same name) and Wicked Lester,[1] he introduced Gene Klein to Stan Eisen in Steve's Washington Heights apartment. Wicked Lester later became Kiss, when Simmons and Stanley decided to start a new band. Coronel then formed the band Lover.

Coronel was arrested on September 26, 2014, on five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. An investigation was launched when the U.S. Department of Justice's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force determined child pornography had been uploaded from a residence in Bluffton, S.C.[2][3]
