Stephen Ettien (born 10 April 1988) is a French professional football player of Ivorian descent. He currently plays for Terrassa FC following his release from Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academical.
Career
Ettien began his career at his hometown club Balma SC, before moving to JS Cugnaux the following season. After being noticed by several clubs, which included hometown club Toulouse and Bordeaux, Lyon agreed to a trial with the young player, after he was recommended by former Olympique Lyonnais coach Éric Taborda. After impressing, Ettien was signed to Lyon's CFA squad. He was released following the 2007-08 season.
On 29 August 2008, Ettien signed for Hamilton Academical.[1]
Ettien made his league debut for Hamilton Academical on 20 September 2008 in a game against Hibernian, coming on as a 62nd-minute substitute.[2]
Ettien joined Brechin City on loan in January 2009.[3]
Ettien was released from his contract with Hamilton on 26 May 2009.[4]
