Stephen Mozia (born 16 August 1993) is a US-born shot putter competing internationally for Nigeria.[3] He represented his country at the 2014 and 2016 World Indoor Championships.
He was born and raised in the United States but in 2014 decided to switch allegiance to Nigeria, the birth country of his parents.[1] Mozia graduated from Cornell University, where he was a member of the Quill and Dagger society.
His shot put personal bests are 20.46 metres outdoors (Eugene 2014) and 21.11 metres indoors (Nashville 2016). Both are current Nigerian records. In addition, he has a best of 62.80 metres in the discus throw (Jacksonville 2014).
