Steponas Babrauskas (born June 20, 1984) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player .

Professional career

His first achievement in basketball came at the 2003 FIBA U-19 World Championships in Greece, where Babrauskas and the Lithuanian U-19 National Basketball Team won silver medals. He also won a bronze medal at the 2004 FIBA European Under-20 Championship in the Czech Republic. He first won a gold medal at the 2005 FIBA U-21 World Championships in Argentina. He won second place in the Lithuanian Basketball League with Lietuvos Rytas in 2004, and won the Latvian Basketball League with ASK Riga in 2007. He helped the Lithuanian team to win gold medals at the 2007 Summer Universiade. In 2008 he returned to Lietuvos Rytas and was named team captain, with Rytas, he won Euro Cup, Lithuanian League and Baltic League. He had a brief stint in Turkey in the 2014-2015 season, a year removed after he left Rytas.
