Stereodmeta xylodeta is a genus of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It contains the species Stereodmeta xylodeta, which is found in Brazil.[3]

The wingspan is about 23 mm. The forewings are grey, transversely strigulated indistinctly dark fuscous and with the costa suffused dark brown from about one-third to three-fourths. The stigmata are very obscure, suffused and dark fuscous, with the plical slightly before the first discal. The apical area and termen are suffused brownish-ochreous and marked fuscous on the veins. The hindwings are dark grey.[4]
