Stephen James "Steve" Irons (born 1 September 1958) is an Australian politician.[1] He is the Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives for the electoral division of Swan in Western Australia. He was the sole Liberal in Australia to unseat a sitting Labor MP at the 2007 election, defeating Kim Wilkie by 164 votes.
His son Jarrad plays Australian rules football for Port Adelaide in the Australian Football League. Steve Irons played for East Perth in the West Australian Football League in the 1980s.
