Steve McKenzie (born April 28, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenseman.
Career
McKenzie was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, selected in the 10th round (198th overall). He was part of the Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team coached by "Badger" Bob Johnson that won the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship in 1981.
He spent parts of his career in the American Hockey League with the Moncton Alpines and in the International Hockey League with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles.
McKenzie also played two seasons of amateur hockey in Newfoundland and Ontario before retiring in 1988.
