Steve Dennis Timmons (born November 29, 1958) is a former American volleyball-player who represented the USA at three consecutive Summer Olympics starting in 1984. In each tournament he won a medal: two gold (1984 and 1988) and one bronze (1992). Steve played his high school volleyball at Newport Harbor High School before going to Orange Coast College and the University of Southern California.
He co-founded and was the former president of Redsand, which he sold in 2004. He teamed with Karch Kiraly several times, including a stint in Italy playing for Porto Ravenna Volley, in which he won the Italian Volleyball League in 1991 and the CEV Champions League in 1992
His ex-wife is basketball executive; Jeanie Buss daughter of the late Jerry Buss. He currently is married to actress Debbe Dunning, who played Heidi on Home Improvement.
