Steven 'gaze' Sanders (born August 19, 1976) is a Belgian guitarist noted for his work as founder, guitarist and manager for Spoil Engine. He also holds a Master of Science degree in micro-electronics and is the founder of Quicksand, a micro-electronics company.

Guitarist

From 1996 to 2002, he was a founding member of the 5-piece deathcore metalband 'Deformity', which primarely toured in the European underground scene and played Dour festival. From 2004 to present, he is a founding member of the 5-piece groove metalband Spoil Engine, a Belgian metalband with Dutch singer and drummer, with albums on Roadrunner Records and Universal. Spoil Engine directly supported bands such as Megadeth, Motörhead, Killswitch Engage, Arch Enemy and Prong. Major festival appearances include Graspop (3x),[1] Pukkelpop (2x),[2] Masters at Rock (2x) and Suikerrock (2x).

He is the CEO of Daily Sin Entertainment, currently managing Spoil Engine and closed deals with Roadrunner Records, Universal and Live Nation. He also convinced Belgian surrealist Panamerenko to deliver artwork for the latest 'Spoil Engine' record cover.

Micro-electronics

In 2001, he graduated cum laude as Master of Science in Electronic Engineering at Leeds Metropolitan University. While contracted at IMEC, he co-invented 2 patents[3][4] in ultra low power wireless sensor design. In 2005, he started the micro-electronics company Quicksand.
