Stix Zadinia is the stage name of Darren Leader, an American-born drummer. He is best known as the drummer for the glam metal band Steel Panther (formerly known as Metal Skool).[2] He is influenced by bands like Bon Jovi and many other rock bands from the 1970s and 1980s. Zadinia was a member of a band called The Thornbirds with Russ Parrish (better known by his stage name Satchel), the guitarist for Steel Panther, Jeff Duncan, a former member of rock-metal supergroups Odin, Armored Saint, and DC4, and bassist Dean Cameron.
Equipment
For his equipment, Zadinia plays DW drums, frequently alternating between a one and two bass drum setup. He also endorses Sabian (formerly Zildjian) cymbals, Remo (formerly Evans) drumheads, and Vic Firth drumsticks.
