Stjepan Perić (Croatian pronunciation: [stjêpaːn pɛːritɕ]; born March 1, 1983) is a Croatian actor.

Biography

After finishing high school Perić studied law at the University of Zagreb. In 2003, he quit law to pursue a career as an actor. He attended the Academy of Dramatic Art. Besides the leading roles in theatre, he played in a number of Croatian films and tv series.

In 2008 he performed at the Croatian National Theatre, taking on the role of Orin Mannon in Eugene O'Neill's Mourning Becomes Electra. For this role he was nominated for Best Young Actor at the Croatian Theatre Awards.

In 2009 with young director Nevio Marasović he co-wrote and starred in the pilot for the TV series Instructor (Instruktor), which later became the first Croatian mockumentary tv series.

Having finished filming Instructor, Perić moved to London and graduated film acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
