Stopmolophidae is a family of true jellyfish from the West Atlantic and Pacific. It contains a single genus, Stomolophus.[1] In addition to the species listed below, the Nomura's jellyfish (Nemopilema nomurai) was formerly included in this genus, though now N. monurai has been placed within Rhizostomatidae.[2]

According to the World Register of Marine Species, Stomolophus includes two species:[3]
- Stomolophus fritillarius
- Stomolophus meleagris - the cannonball or cabbage head jellyfish
