"Stone Cold" is a song by British rock band Rainbow. This song is different than the hard rock and heavy metal in which the band was known for and features a pop rock sound with occasional soft rock elements mixed in to make this song a polished ballad.
Description
The song relies on pop rock as its de facto main genre with soft rock elements occasionally mixed which makes the song a power ballad. A lot of fans from their hard rock and heavy metal days were not too thrilled with this song and Rainbow's pop rock direction in general.
