Strange Attractors Audio House
Strange Attractors Audio House (SAAH) is a record label from Portland, Oregon. It was founded in 2000 by Chris Scofield.
History
SAAH was as spin-off of KAOS Olympia (89.3 FM) Community Radio's "Strange Attractors" program — a show which Scofield hosted for about eight years. Scofield, who had a four-year stint at K Records, was also the station's music director during the 1995-1996 timeframe. During that time the station was intensely focused on supporting independent artists.
The first recording of this imprint was The Lowdown's Revolver II, which saw release on Halloween 2000.
